Rendez-vous à l'aeroport

I have to pick up a friend from the airport today. Expected arrival is 9:00 pm tonight. I cannot confirm whether my friend caught his flight from Hong Kong. I will have to drive across New York and wait until I see him. In the worst case scenario if he is not on tonight's flight then I will do this again tomorrow.

Going to the airport reminded me of the April 27, 2009 Air Force One flyby over New York City. The plane flew very low and appeared to be chased by two air force fighter jets. Needless to say it caused a panic in Manhattan for obvious reasons. Read more about the story at nytimes.com
